The NSWCo BID is a not-for-profit company, established in January 2021.

It has been enabled with the support of seed funding from the NSW Government ($450,000 over three years), the City of Sydney ($40,000), and its Founding Business Members.

Its Board currently comprises senior executives from major Precinct businesses and Business Sydney. It will evolve to a membership representation structure.

Roles and responsibilities:

  1. A three-year establishment program of work is being implemented.

  2. A BID Steering Committee has been established, bringing together the BIDCo, senior bureaucrats from the State and the City, and community representatives.

  3. BID Working Groups will co-ordinate program workstreams.

  4. Monitoring and evaluation is being managed by UTS (BID Member).
